Dato’ Abdul Aziz Bin Abu Bakar

Bio

Dato’ Aziz currently sits on the boards of Affin Bank Berhad, Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM), Merchantrade Asia Sdn Bhd and Al Khair International Investment Sdn Bhd. He currently chairs all the companies’ Nomination & Remuneration Committees (NRC) and is a member of Affin Bank’s Compliance Committee and a member of Risk & Audit Committee of Merchantrade.

Previous board positions held were in INTRIA Berhad as it’s Managing Director, Malaysian Directors Academy (MINDA) as CEO/ED, Costain Group Plc (UK), Rangkaian Segar Sdn Bhd and FCW Holdings Berhad.

He has held several senior positions across a number of industries including Aviation, Oil & Gas, Construction, Banking and Telecommunications. He began his career in Malaysian Airline System and moved to Shell Malaysia where he served for 20 years in various management positions which included Internal & IT Audit, Marketing Economics, Sales & Distribution, Supply & Planning and Human Resource and Transformation for ASEAN region. In 1991, he was assigned to an international posting to Shell Group HQ in London where he held the position of shareholders representative overseeing Shell’s business interest in Hong Kong and China. He left Shell in 2002 for RHB Bank as its Executive VP of Human Resources and subsequently in 2004 to Telekom Malaysia as its Chief Human Capital Officer. His final posting, before retiring in 2017, was spent as CEO/ED of MINDA.

Rayyan Irwan

As the Head of Strategic HR, He led a comprehensive human resources function designed to drive organizational success and employee engagement. In this role, he is responsible for shaping and implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives and foster a high-performance culture. He holds a master’s degree in business specialising in project management and is a certified HRDF trainer with Lean Six Sigma expertise. Rayyan’s core competencies include HR training, recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, project management, learner engagement, talent management, process improvements, digital learning, and F&B operations.

Dinakaran Krishnan brings with him over 24 years of experience in the field of Human Resources, with deep expertise in Workforce Transformation & Integration, HR Technology, Strategy, and Analytics.

He currently serves as the Head of HR at Telekom Malaysia Digital Innovations Sdn Bhd (Credence), a digital powerhouse with core capabilities in Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, SaaS, Application Management, and Cybersecurity.

Throughout his career, Dinakaran has held key HR and consulting roles at leading organizations such as DXC Technology, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, HCL Axon, Arthur Andersen & Co, Ernst & Young Tax Consultants, and Deloitte Malaysia.

He holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Tasmania, Australia, and an MBA in Business from the University of Glasgow Caledonian.

Razman has accumulated extensive experience of 33 years in the field of human resources. He has held senior-level positions at various multinational corporations and government-linked entities, including serving as the General Manager of Human Resource Development at Johor Corporation and the Senior General Manager of Group Talent Management at KPJ Healthcare. Additionally, Razman has worked at prominent companies, such as Goodyear, UEM Land Holdings and Kumpulan Guthrie.

Academically, Razman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the International Islamic University and a Diploma in Personnel Management from the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management. His professional achievements include serving as the Panel Member of the Industrial Court , and being a Thought Leader at the National Human Resource Centre under HRD Corp. He currently serves as the Deputy President of the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management. Razman is also certified as a Professional Coach and Mentor, as well as a Balanced Scorecard professional.

Dato’ Indera Ir. Dr. Ahmad Sabirin Arshad is currently the President and Group Chief Executive Officer, SIRIM Berhad. Previously, he was also the CEO of Mapri Sdn Bhd and Aerospace Ventures (UZMA Berhad Company); the founding Managing Director and CEO of Astronautic Technology (M) Sdn. Bhd (ATSB) and Chairman of its subsidiaries since 1997. He has also served as the lecturer/Head of Warden/Programme Chairman/Deputy Dean at Universiti Sains Malaysia from 1990-1997.

He had attended the manufacturing and testing phase of MEASAT-1 in Hughes Aircraft Company (now Boeing Co.) in El Segundo, California, and responsible to lead the design and development of Malaysia’s TiungSAT-1, RazakSAT, InnoSAT satellite and the various technology programmes including the Malaysian first astronaut programme. He has also provided advise for the government of Malaysia as the National space expert such as for the search of MH370 and the fatal incident of MH17.

He has served as an adjunct and visiting professor at various universities since 1996. Currently, he is a board member for SIRIM Berhad subsidiaries, private companies, universities, and a state-owned corporation. He has also been appointed as a Fellow of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia and the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia. Since November 2023, he has served as Chairman of the Engineering Accreditation Council and as a Director of the Board of Engineers Malaysia.
